Red Cup Girl

It's just too much fun to draw beautiful women.

Pigtails

I've been practicing using a gradient mesh again, when I get the time here and there. The last one I did was a while ago. I just love the rounded soft feel it gives, and I can't wait to get CS5 and start messing around with the upgrades.

Sony Recorder

When I was illustrating images for the student manuals at work, they had to be black and white. This is a couple years old but I just ran into it on my computer and thought I'd share.

Oscar & Jerome

I sketched these guys for work so they could be used in a video. I based them off of reference photos I found online, which is difficult when the pictures are old and can't be found high res anywhere. Either way, I don't get the opportunity to do portraits much so it's a nice change of pace and I could definitely use the practice.

Green Eyed Lady

I haven't been very good at posting lately so it's probably good that I don't have many followers anticipating my next doodle. Still excited to have the time to sit down and draw for REAL, but for now another vector drawing will have to suffice. I do like how this little lady turned out. :)

Cleopatra

I've been pretty busy at the Factory lately, so I haven't really been drawing much. This is something I doodled up in Illustrator recently and finally sat down to finish coloring it. I was in the mood for shiny. It's fun to see how drawing with a Wacom produces a different style than drawing with pencil, but I am itching to sit down with some actual paper. There just aren't enough hours in a day!

K-Bot

(In case you're not following the Tiny Robot Factory blog, shame on you! Here's what you missed.)

New custom "K-Bot" had a wonderful little photo shoot! Thanks to Kaycee Parker for the gorgeous pictures, and Alimah Rodriguez for some digital magic. I love teamwork :)

Stanley Chow Tribute

Stanley Chow is a genius illustrator. I had a little fun relishing in his fresh look by illustrating myself in his style (or, an attempt at his style). If you haven't heard of him, check him out! His Mad Men posters are amazing. www.stanleychow.co.uk & www.stanleychow.bigcartel.com

Rough Buffy Sketch

Haven't been very good at posting lately because I've been spending my free time on making robots (tinyrobotfactory.com). So here's a doodle that I never uploaded.

Fruit Girls

A collection of fruit-themed girls I did for iStock.
