Laresa The Vampire Slayer

I know a beautiful woman who looks like a comic book character, thus inspiring this digital painting.

Red Riding Hood

Work in progress. It's October and all I want to do is illustrate red-heads!

Delicious

More practice with painting in Photoshop. I've been using Illustrator so much over the past few years I've gotten very rusty in PS. It's nice to have a big Cintiq to work on and it makes all the difference!

Little Black Dress

It's been over a year since my last post! I'm terrible at this. Been very busy working on the Lalaloopsy series as prop designer, and creating robots for Tiny Robot Factory at night. Same old same old. Anyways, Pinterest is a fun place to find inspiration for hair, clothes and mak...er I mean, sketching...so here is a quick lunch break doodle I did of the little photo below. I'm still not even done with it but I made some good headway, and will work on her here and there until she's finished. Sometimes I need proof or reassurance that I am progressing as an illustrator. I think I found some...

ImaginAgents Character Concepts

I was mortified when I realized that I haven't posted anything here since last OCTOBER. I've been really busy working on character designs, Tiny Robot Factory, and writing music. It's a lot to juggle and there's a chance I might literally lose my mind. Before that happens, here's a quick look at a couple designs I did for Cosmic Toast Studios for a show idea called "ImaginAgents".

Truly Outrageous

Today I had some time to do whatever I wanted, so I drew up some fan-art of the cartoon character Jem. I was in the mood for something really bright and girly especially after looking at all the greys and muted colors on my site right now. I think I'll post it there too, to break up the monotony. I loosely based this illustration on her most famous pose, and made more changes to her hair and outfit.
