Candy Corn Witch

A new iStock illustration, with a little bit of texture. I'm way ahead of myself here, but was in the mood to do something Halloweeny.

This is an old sketch/gradient mesh test. Just trying out a new shading method I don't use a lot.

Pink Ink

This is probably the 10th version of a character I've developed, Pink Ink. Blue Haiku is her little bear who's not shown, but he'll be around soon.
I'm still practicing my Photoshop painting. I can't seem to make anything as pretty as everyone else does, but I love the messy marker/watercolor feel I got in this one. I can only get better, that's for sure!

Garbage Bag Flight

This illustration is for my friend Carolyn's story (based on a dream she had) where she shook a garbage bag to open it up, and when she did, it filled with air and she flew over the rooftop of the neighbor's house! This is the beginning of our writer/illustrator partnership. :)
